Name & Blog Name:  Angie @ Angela’s Anxious Life
Tell us a little about your blog! My blog is all about fun.  I really try to post about topics that are fun and informative.  I review young adult book, graphic novels, adult books just a wide variety.  I love everything (I really can’t get into non-fiction though.  I also review video games and movies.  I didn’t do this when I first started blogging but it is something else I enjoy so I thought why not???
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!)  I loved writing this post about Fairy Tale Retellings.  I did a lot of research on it and discovered some new fairy tale retellings.  I also had an entire month dedicated to the Wizard of Oz. That was a fun month… I reviewed movies, books, comics… everything!
Got anything special coming up we should know about? I have been doing a Project Disney on my blog, where I watch an animated Disney movie and read the book that the movie is based off of.  I have really enjoy this project.  Some movies are soooo different from the book they are based off of.  The most recent one I reviewed was Frozen and you’d be surprised how different this is from the Snow Queen story.

Whatcha reading? Fables graphic novels series
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) Library (I get everything from the library).  If it weren’t for the library I could read what I read.  I just don’t have the money.  My library also loans out video games and movies.  I always feel bad for people who tell me their library isn’t up to date and never gets any books.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? I love graphic novels… and I really love fairy tales… so when I heard about Fables and that it was similar to the show Once Upon a Time I knew I needed to read it.  This is a long running comic… and the author Willingham just announced that the series will be finishing next year.  Fables was just made into a video game series too.. I just played the first chapter and it was fun!!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? This is a good book to get introduced into the graphic novel genre if you haven’t tried it yet.  A lot of people want to try graphic novels but don’t know where to begin.  They think graphic novels are just superheroes (which I love those too DC/Marvel) but graphic novels really do branch out.  If you like fantasy these are great too.  I would say these are for a more mature reader though.

Whatcha drinking? Mountain Dew
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? I love Mountain Dew so much.  Seriously.. I have an addiction.  I have really been cutting back because it is terrible for my teeth.  My dentist is always telling me to just cut it out completely but it sure is hard.  I love the stuff so much.  It’s like nectar from the gods!
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Well… Mountain Dew!  Do I seem like a Mountain Dew pusher????  🙂

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? I recommend Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger… such an amazing story.  For all ages.  Every time I read this book I get something else out of it.   I recommend The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins… I know now everyone knows about this series… but I still think they are excellent books.  And third… I like to recommend The Rainbow Goblins by Ul De Rico.  This is a wonderful, BEAUTIFUL children’s picture book.  It is great for all ages.
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? Well… I am pretty proud of the two groups I run on goodreads. I run the Stephen King Fans group and the Young Adult book club. Like blogging, it can be difficult to keep readers coming back and to come up with new and exciting content.  I actually recently wrote a post on the lack of participation on Goodreads now… it seems that less and less people are reading a long with the groups.
Anything else you’d like to share? Thank you for featuring me, Brittany!  I love to be able to get to know new bloggers and other readers.  I have learned a lot from other people… about blogging… what to read next, and even about life!

Thanks, Angie!! Loved having you here and learning more about you! 🙂 🙂
