Name & Blog Name: Hey everybody! I’m Caitlin from CaitlinMarieReads.
Tell us a little about your blog! I review YA and adult fiction; I will basically read anything! I recently switched to self-hosting my blog…and it has been an experience! I am pretty new to blogging in general, so if anybody has any wisdom to impart on me, that would be great!
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) Any of my Top Ten Tuesday posts! The most recent one is linked HERE. The topics are so much fun to read and even more fun to write about!
Got anything special coming up we should know about? I am still in the process of figuring out exactly what I am doing! But I will have a review of Heir of Fire and The Night Circus up soon! (If you haven’t started the Throne of Glass series…you should!)

book

Whatcha reading? Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas! It’s the third book in the Throne of Glass series, and was my most anticipated book of 2014. Seriously…the series is amazing, READ IT!
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) I bought it from Barnes and Noble. There is one in my backyard, basically, and it’s SO bad for my wallet.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? It came out on September 2nd, and I love the series so I had to read it right away!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? This is the first book series I have loved as much as Harry Potter. The plot is amazing, it isn’t rushed because it will actually be a series of 6 books, and the main character is an assassin who loves pretty dresses and books…need I say more?

beverage

Whatcha drinking? Château de l’Eperonnière, a French Rosé! It’s been a long week, I’m 23, and I am celebrating being done with French classes forever! Seriously, college French was NOT fun for me!
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? Honestly, most of the time I am drinking English Breakfast Tea. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is…I always need a little caffeine.
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! This is tough… favorite alcoholic drink is Carlsberg, for sure! I have only found it in Rome and at Raglan Road in Disney World! At least there is somewhere in this country that I can get it! As for non-alcoholic, sweet tea is the best. Gotta love living in the south!
bonus

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? The Throne of Glass series, because of all the reasons I listed before. Jane Eyre, even if you have tried to read classics before this one is just different. Jane is a strong character that knows what she wants which makes it a pretty progressive book for its time period. Lastly, the Mistborn trilogy is a must read! I love all the characters, and the world that Brandon Sanderson created is amazingly in depth.
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? The first comment I got on my blog was a really proud moment for me! I started my blog to talk to people about books, and that was the first time I had proof that someone was actually going to talk back!
Anything else you’d like to share? I love talking to new people and finding new blogs! If anybody has any tips for me, I would love to hear them!

Thanks, Caitlin! Heir of Fire was sooooo amazing and I’m reading Mistborn right now, almost done, and LOVING it! Totally agree with your recommendations! Thanks so much for being on Book and a Beverage!!
