Book and a Beverage [172] – Andi from Andi’s ABCs

Book and a Beverage

Welcome back to BOOK AND A BEVERAGE!

In case you don’t know the deal about Book and a Beverage, it’s a very simple yet fun feature: We read books, we drink beverages, we take pictures of them and then I share your photos and a little about you to the blogging world!

Give a big welcome to Andi from Andi’s ABCs!

Name & Blog Name: Andi, Andi’s ABCs
Tell us a little about your blog! My blog is my baby. She is about 4 and 3 months old and just recently went through a makeover. I mostly talk about books and card making with some clothes and accessory talk mixed in. You will probably get sick of the craft talk, but it is my thing and I love doing it so…
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) My favorite post…hmmm…that’s a tough one. I guess I would have to go with my Anna and the French Kiss collection post Collection or Obsession. The collection has grown since then, but I still love that post.
Got anything special coming up we should know about? I recently (just yesterday) launched my new guest post feature ‘Book a Date’. I’m excited to see how it will work out.

Whatcha reading? In a Perfect World by Trish Doller
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) A friend picked it up for my at ALA MW.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? Nope. Just the book I happen to be reading right now.
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? I’m in love with it so far and I think it is a book everyone should have on their TBR. Trish is doing a great job of showing a different culture. It is definitely something people should read.

Whatcha drinking?
Starbucks Iced Green Tea Lemonade (I get one every morning.)
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? I usually drink tea when I’m reading and it is usually Tazo Zen Green tea or Chai. In the summer it will be iced tea.
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Tab. Oh how I miss Tab. I don’t drink soda anymore, but I would still kill for a can of Tab.

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? Anna and the French Kiss, Twenty Boy Summer, and Parallel (Although I also want to say Letters to the Lost, All in Pieces, What Happens Next, A Court of Mist and Fury, Froi of the Exiles, and The Lies About Truth, but I’ll keep it at 3.)
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? I have had a lot. Recently I have been able to guest post on Riveted Lit’s (Simon Pulse) blog which has been awesome for me! I also will be moderating my second Sarah J. Maas signing with Sarah from What Sarah Read. I was blurbed for the ARCs of Emery Lord’s book When We Collided. And I am a feature review name on Amazon for Miranda Kenneally’s book Breathe, Annie, Breathe. Those are pretty epic things for me.
Anything else you’d like to share? I will soon be selling my handmade cards on my blog. I hope to have them up in April but we’ll see. If you want to follow along with cards I have been making feel free to follow my card Instagram CardsbyAndreaS. Thanks for having me again Brittany. This was fun!

Thanks for being awesome, Andi!! An Anna recommendation — how surprising 😉 Your new blog layout looks LOVELY and I’m so excited to read the new Trish Doller book too!

Fun stuff!! I met Trish Doller last weekend and we talked about In a Perfect World– I can’t wait to read it! Also– yay for Froi of the Exiles! That was the first book by Melina Marchetta that I’d ever read. I loved that whole series.

Those are some really awesome proud moments. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
