Tell us a little about your blog! Disquietus Reads is the little corner of the internet while I gush (or rant) about the books I read and anything else that strikes my fancy.
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) Oh geez that’s hard, but probably the YA Prom post. I just had so, so much fun with that one.
Got anything special coming up we should know about? Hmmm  I don’t think we have anything special coming up. I’ve got a couple of new features I plan to try out and of course a lot more of the usual.

Whatcha reading? A DARKER SHADE OF MAGIC by V.E SCHWAB
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) I borrowed it from Nikki from There Were Books Involved because she’s the best.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? Well Victoria Schwab is my favorite author of all time, and A Darker Shade of Magic is my favorite of her books so mostly that was the entire reasoning.
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? IT IS BRILLIANT AND GLORIOUS AND EVERYTHING YOU ARE EXPECTING AND MORE. So yes, yes I would definitely recommend it.

Whatcha drinking? COFFEE. I prefer mine with a splash of half and half and some cocoa.
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? Coffee. Tea. Cocoa. Basically anything hot
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Ummm…coffee. Seriously I drink like a pot a day usually. It’s a problem.

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? The Archived, The Raven Cycle, Throne of Glass series.
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? Hmmmmm I don’t know if I have a single proudest moment. I am super proud of the blog overall, thankful that people even notice it and read the posts. Every comment gives me a little thrill.

Whatcha reading? A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES by SARAH J. MAAS
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) Nikki from There Were Books Involved let me borrow it and I didn’t even have to ask! She just knew I wanted it more than life itself and lent it to me after Angie because she is fabulous.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? Guys, I was DYING for this book. DYING. Sarah J. Maas is one of my favorite authors ever and I adore the Throne of Glass series. When I saw she was writing this Beauty and the Beast re-telling with FAE (!!!!), I pretty much would have sold my firstborn for it.
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? It is everything I was wanting it to be and MORE. Feyre is the type of badass female character that SJM does so well and the creepy fae and creatures are shiver-making. OH, AND THE MEN. *fans self* Obviously, I recommend it. I’ll shut up now.

Whatcha drinking? Vanilla Coffee 🙂 I take it with sugar and half-and-half.
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? I would like to say something fancy, but really I’m a Dr. Pepper girl.
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Vanilla Latte from Starbucks! I’m addicted and clearly partial to vanilla flavoring.

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? OMG ONLY THREE? Um, Throne of Glass series. Mistborn Trilogy. Outlander
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? EVERY BIT OF IT. I just started blogging a few months ago with Angie and it’s all so new and exciting to me. I flail over every post, comment, and ARC that I get. The community has also been super-welcoming. I really love doing this — books and blogging are my peaceful place.
Anything else you’d like to share? Thanks for letting us hang out with you and flail about books! I love Book and a Beverage and this is the first time I’ve done something like this. It was incredibly fun! I LOVE YOU ALL <3
